Peter and his team partner with clients across the spectrum of keynotes to long-term consulting to create a culture of Jumpseat Leadership.
Leading from the Jumpseat combines inspiration with practical application, built on a foundation of real-world experience. The approach and concepts of Jumpseat Leadership are designed to build on what already exists, drawing out what is best in each individual and those they lead.
The team is most excited to work with those who recognize the value of their team and want to ensure their people are equipped to lead into the next 10-15 years and beyond.

Our Approach
Strategy | Structure | Succession
Strategy
Strategy starts with a clear picture of where, as a team, we are heading. This picture needs to be in place for people to lead toward. While a team can be aligned around a purpose, it’s only when purpose becomes elevated to a shared commitment that history-making becomes a possibility. When this is in place, everyone feels personally connected to the outcome, is willing to make sacrifices to get there, and has a reservoir of energy to overcome the challenges along the way.
Structure
Beyond the size of a small start-up, structure becomes increasingly important. Structure will remove friction, increase efficiency, and enable people to have more freedom while staying aligned. Structure also creates the framework to enable senior leadership to take an increasingly strategic role by creating the environment where strategy can come to life. The clarity that comes with effective structure helps an organization draw on the collective genius and creates the conditions for scaling and sustaining.
Succession
At the heart of Jumpseat Leadership is creating the conditions in which, when the time is right, others can take the lead. Built over the long term, this mindset forms an environment where people feel they belong and choose to be invested in the future. It informs how we train and develop our people so they have the specialist and leadership skills needed to take the organization beyond our own tenure, carrying forward those things that are deeply important to us.
The practice of Jumpseat Leadership equips people to lead in a way that they can embrace the unknown and make history-making outcomes possible.
